Here I am again taking family portraits at the Botleigh Grange Hotel. You may wonder how I am getting time to write this blog, well my first session a Watch Me Grow baby portrait never turned up, you would think I would learn after more than 25 years in the business, if people have an excuse for not paying the session fee before the session takes place, you can bet your bottom dollar they are not going to show up… Not so much as a phone call to apologise, not to worry it’s my own fault I should know better. Anyway moan over my next one should be here any moment so I will blog again later if I get a chance.

We will shortly be launching a new website to showcase our portraits, at the moment they are sharing our weddings website but I feel that as they make up about 40% of our business they should have their own website. We offer family portraits, baby portraits, Engagement Portraits, Makeover Portraits, Boudoir Portraits and now the High School Seniors Portraits. I feel these would be better represented with their own website.

Hi, this was a brilliant, hectic & exhausting weekend. Saturday we did Charlotte & Jamie’s wedding at Beaulieu Abbey followed by a wonderful reception at the Montague Arms also in Beaulieu. The weather despite what the weather forecast said was very nice, just a bit windy. Everything went off really well, Charlotte looked wonderful and Jamie was very smart in his brown wedding suit. It really was a nice day and I will put up a few more wedding pictures in the next couple of days.

Sunday was busy too. We had a Makeover Portrait in the morning, booked a wedding at lunchtime followed by a family portrait viewing, finishing off with an E session in the grounds of the Botleigh Grange Hotel, extremely varied just the way I like it, I love my job.

Well here we go again another Sunday of fun portraits at the Botleigh Grange Hotel. This morning I have a Makeover Session for Hayley followed by 4 family portraits this afternoon, so a long but fun day ahead.

We have just been to the best wedding ever, Matthew & Fiona’s, alright I am a little biased as Matthew is my son but never the less it was a fabulous day Fiona looked amazing and Matthew was very handsome in his wedding attire. Matthew & Fiona were married at Bitterne Church followed by a wonderful reception at the Devere New Place in Shirrell Heath. Everything went without a hitch and it really was the best day ever.

Below is a quick slideshow of a few of the pictures from the 1500 taken, so that Matthew & Fiona can see them on honeymoon in Cape Verde.
