Saturday saw us do another great wedding, this time at the Solent Hotel in Whiteley I really do feel so lucky to have such a brilliant job.

This week it was Rachel & Bruce that tied the knot at the Locks Heath Free Church, this was a lively and fun ceremony officiated by . Then it was off to the Solent Hotel for a wonderful reception. Matt was the wedding coordinator and he looked after us very well.

Here are a few pictures from the day. To see the full set of wedding pictures click here.

Rachel & Bruce are a great couple and we wish them all the very best for the future.

Well that’s all for now.

A White, White Wedding!

We had a really nice wedding this weekend, Sharon & Gary had a civil ceremony at Winslowe House in West End. I have known Sharon for many years, Sharon used to do the makeup for our Makeover Sessions.

I went to Sharon’s home for the Bridal Preparation shots and Matthew (my son who is our main second shooter) went to Winslowe House to photograph Gary and his Bestman (his brother Mike). Everything went really well no weather problems other than a bit cold.

Here are a few pictures from this wonderful wedding day…

Hi, I am sat at my new Studio in Botley Mills waiting for my next client, they are coming for a viewing of the family portraits taken last week.

Earlier today we had a wedding at the Botleigh Grange Hotel for a really lovely couple Richard & Helen. As luck would have it the weather changed almost as Helen turned into the drive, but it didn’t dampen their spirits everyone had a wonderful time and we got some lovely pictures inside.

The new studio is going very well, lots of lovely families to photograph, in-fact I can’t believe how busy we have been in such a short time since we opened. Mind you we have some great offer on portraits so that has helped, if you would like to find out more click on Portrait Photography we have some brilliant ideas for Christmas Gifts so why not check it out now.

Cheers for now.

Oops

Sorry the link to our very special Portrait Offers in the last blog wasn’t working, I have fixed it now but if you would like to see what’s on offer click the link Colin Charles Portrait Vouchers the Perfect Gift for any occasion.

Cheers, blog soon.

We have been busy!

Hi, still can’t get into the habit of keeping up this blog, still here I am again.

So, what’s been happening this month thus far? Well we had a really nice wedding for Mike & Gemma, they collected their proofs today so I will put up a couple of wedding pictures soon (no honestly I will). We also had a busy wedding show at the Botley Park Hotel, lots of good contacts made there and booked a couple of weddings from it so far!!

The new Studio opened on Saturday which was a great success, it is so nice to be able to offer portrait sittings any day of the week rather than just Sundays at the Botleigh Grange Hotel. The new studio will be open by appointment only and is situated in the Botley Mills building just off the square in Botley. It has taken a lot of work to get it how I want it and I should publicly thank Karen, Matthew, Fiona, Brett & Scott for all of their hard work helping with the transformation.

We are offering a number of portrait offers at the studio so check out our website for full details. Studio Offers Remember Portraits Make Perfect Gifts, whether you have a portrait taken to give as a gift or you buy a portrait voucher to give as a gift, either way it’s a very special and personal thing to have and very affordable with vouchers starting from £19.95.

Well that’s it for today, cheers Colin

Here we go again, me saying that I will keep this blog up to date but never do!! so I am not going to say it this time and see if that makes any difference.

Anyway we had a lovely wedding at the weekend for Tamsin and Ryan at Careys Manor Hotel in Brockenhurst, they are a lovely couple and they both looked wonderful as you will see from the photographs below.

Cheers Colin

Here I am at the lovely Carys Manor in Brockenhurst waiting to photograph Tamsin preparing for her big day. The sun is shining What more could I ask for.

Just learned how to blog from my phone so hopefully I will keep the blog upto date from here in!!!

Cheers Colin

Here I am again taking family portraits at the Botleigh Grange Hotel. You may wonder how I am getting time to write this blog, well my first session a Watch Me Grow baby portrait never turned up, you would think I would learn after more than 25 years in the business, if people have an excuse for not paying the session fee before the session takes place, you can bet your bottom dollar they are not going to show up… Not so much as a phone call to apologise, not to worry it’s my own fault I should know better. Anyway moan over my next one should be here any moment so I will blog again later if I get a chance.

Have a great day… Colin
