Once again I find myself writing my blog from the Botleigh Grange Hotel. I have already done one makeover this went well should have some nice pictures to show them. I have also shot a family portrait (Mum & Dad + 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren) the children were very well behaved but Jake (under 1 year) didn’t want to smile although we did get a couple.
I am at the moment sat in the bar of the Botleigh Grange waiting for Lyn to finish the makeup on my next makeover, so I thought i would use the time productively and write my blog.
This weekend is very busy I did a wedding in a place called Upper Chute near Andover I have never been there before it was a lovely little village just north of Andover, and very pretty. The place is very small infact the bride actually walked from her home to the church. The weather was fine but a bit cold, mind you the bride, Karen wore a lovely off the shoulder wedding dress and didn’t complain once. I will put up a couple of pictures soon. I treated myself to a new camera (Nikon D3) which I used at the wedding it was lovely to use and the quality of the images are great, definitely a wise investment.
Monday I am off to Focus which is a once a year trade show for the photographic industry held in Birmingham NEC. I am most interested in the new wedding albums on offer and will report back to you in the week.
That’s it for now my sandwich has arrived. I will blog soon, Colin
