Good morning it is now 7:30am Sunday morning and here I am sitting at the computer with the rain lashing down outside, I must be mad I should be tucked up in bed dreaming sweet dreams. Anyway I am pleased to say that at long last Mark & Sarah can look at their photos on line. I am not sure if they are back from honeymoon, I would guess not as I have not heard from them yet! The normal thing is “we have just landed at Gatwick airport and waiting for our luggage can we collect our photos on the way home?”
Here is a montage of photos so that you can see what a great day was had by all.
I never had a wedding yesterday so most of Saturday was spent sorting out wedding orders and seeing clients it was quite a pleasant day but I must admit I would sooner have been out shooting a wedding.
Mike did a job for me last night at the Botley Park Hotel with his new assistant Jenny. This was the first time I have met Jenny she seemed very nice and was working well helping with the printing of the pictures and organising people making sure everyone had their photo taken, well done Jenny. We are starting to get a quite a few events, last nights was for a Masonic Lodge all very nice in their long dresses and dinner suits. I tend to send Mike on these as he really likes doing them and he has all of the equipment required to be able to print the pictures whilst they are eating their meal, once the meal is over the pictures are ready for them to buy if they like them, it is all worked on the basis that we go along for free, take the pictures and, if they like them they buy them if not they don’t, obviously the pictures are great, they love them and we make some money, everybody wins.
Sunday is my day off (sometimes) although next Sunday we have a wedding exhibition at the Devere Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton this is usually very busy and we do very well. I have to spend quite a lot of time this week getting things ready for the exhibition ie; brochures, sample dvds, questionnaires and pictures etc.
I have to go now Karen is up and wants to go to the golf club for breakfast this is a Sunday ritual if I am not working, mind you the rain has stopped and the sun is trying to peep through.
