Q How many photographers will be taking my pictures?
A Usually there will be two wedding photographers with you throughout your day, myself and my son Matthew
Q How much do you charge?
A Whilst price is obviously a big factor in the decision process it should be considered along with the quality of service and products received. We respectfully ask that you come and meet us and see if we are right for each other and our pictures and albums are what you are looking for? We do not try to fit your wedding into a packages that suits us, we find out about you and your wedding and design the exact package to fit your wedding.
Q When do we have to pay for our wedding photographs?
A We ask for a deposit of £395 at the time of booking us to photograph your wedding with the balance payable at least 4 weeks prior to your wedding.
Q What would happen if you were ill?
A I realise that this could happen but (touch wood) we have never missed a wedding in over 25 years. However if the unthinkable happened we are proud to be an invited member of the association of elite photographers and as part of our membership we offer to help out on such occasions so no need to worry on that score.
Q Do you have spare cameras, flashguns etc?
A Yes, we carry 3 top of the range Nikon Cameras with Flashguns so no worries on that score, we have it all covered.
Q Do you have Public Indemnity insurance?
A Yes, we have Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance. Please note most wedding venues insist your wedding photographer has this insurance in place .
Q Can we have our pictures in digital form on a disc?
A Yes, if you would prefer your pictures on disc rather than an album this is fine (see the pictures below). On your disc you have a complete set of fully edited and enhanced images suitable for printing plus the same again in Black & White (these really do look good) plus the same again in low resolution for things like Facebook etc. We also include a funky slideshow set to music of about 30 of your favourite images (example at the bottom of this page).
Q Do you do albums and if so what type of album do you do?
A Yes, we are very proud of our albums and custom album designs. All albums are designed individually so suit your wedding (no templates in sight anywhere), so you know if your friend booked us you can rest assured your album will not be a copy of theirs, yours will be unique.
Q Do you do Paper Proofs?
A We no longer do paper proofs, instead your pictures will be uploaded to a secure section of our website that is password protected.
Q How will friends and family see our pictures?
A You will have access to your online proofs so you have complete control of who can see your pictures, just give the password to those people you are happy to have access to them.
Q How long will it take to get our proofs ready after our wedding?
A Your wedding photographer will usually have your proofs ready 2 weeks after your wedding although we normally post half a dozen images on our blog and Facebook so you can see a little taster whilst on honeymoon.
Q Once we choose our pictures how log will we have to wait for our Disc/Album?
A If you have chosen a disc only this is usually ready 4 weeks after your wedding. If you have chosen an album the mock up is usually ready for your approval 2 weeks after you have given us the list of images to include in your album and the finished album will be ready to collect no more than 6 week after you have given your approval of our album design.
Q If we want to book you what do we need to do next?
