Hi Sunday was quite pleasant didn’t do much did have to go shopping though (I hate shopping) mind you I did buy myself a new set of wet weather gear, just as well because I played 18 holes on Monday morning and it rained most of the way round, still I kept dry in my new suit.
I did spend about an hour working on Celia & Joel’s wedding proof book on Sunday. Celia & Joel got married on the same day as Matt & Sarah so Mike did this one for me. Looking at the pictures it does look as though they had a great time, the weather was lovely that day so Mike was able to take advantage of the wonderful grounds of New Place in Shirrell Heath.
Most of Monday was spent (apart from the golf) sorting out Celia & Joel’s wedding proofs I am pleased to say that I did manage to finish them and they will be on the website later today. Below is a montage of pictures from the wedding.
Congratulations to Celia & Joel.
Today I have to sort out the Makeover Portrait I did about a week ago, a very nice lady Glynys. We do quite a few makeover portraits for some reason they seem to come in batches like buses don’t do one for ages then you get three or four in a week, very odd we don’t advertise for them other than Yelow Pages and on our website.
I did say I would put a couple of Glenys’s pictures up and here are a selection.
My first failure, I was so busy finishing Glenys’s pictures and clients calling in and a host of silly little jobs like doing the banking, returning phone calls, ordering stationary, sorting a couple of orders from the internet, fixing the printer that went squiffy just as I tried to print the brochures for the wedding exhibition on Sunday and too many more little jobs that probably only take 15-20 minutes that the day just vanished. This is why I am sitting at my computer at 6:30am trying to finish this post so that another day does not slip by.
Today should be a better day I will be sorting out a couple of family portraits that I did a just over a week ago, then it’s onto getting everything organised for Sunday. The wedding exhibition is at the Devere Grand Harbour in Southampton and is usually one of the best ones we do. I am looking forward to it, although standing up all day is no fun, atleast you meet and chat to some lovely people so the day flies by.
Must go and have a shower and get ready to greet the world. See you tomorrow without fail!!
