Well the wedding season is about to start so I am busy preparing for that at the moment, I don’t know why but the weddings seem to start later every year and go on right up to Christmas, very odd.
I managed to sell my Nikon D200 camera on Ebay yesterday at the forth attempt, the first three times the buyers all turned out to be scammers, Ebay is great but you have to be very careful.
Still on a happier note my son Matthew proposed to his girlfriend Fiona (affectionately known as Fi Fi) over Christmas, this was great news as Fi Fi is a wonderful girl and the do make lovely couple. Now they have set the date for the wedding 27th March 2009 at Bitterne Church followed by a reception at New Place in Shirrell Heath, it’s all very exciting but the cherry on the cake for me was when Matthew asked me to be his bestman that was without doubt one of the proudest moments of my life, with all the people he could have asked he chose his old man, thanks Matthew. So the chat in our house now is wedding, wedding, wedding and we love it, it makes a change to be on this side of a wedding, I can’t believe how expensive everything is and don’t get me started on the price these photographers charge, only joking very reasonable really.
Focus on Imaging exhibition was really good this year, I only bought a couple of the new acrylic frames. When they arrive I will take a picture and let you see what they are like, I was very impressed, they will be perfect for portraits or weddings, still I shall have to wait and see what my clients think, they decide in the end if they are good or bad.
That’s it for today, blog soon, Colin
